A GUITAR,
GOOD LOOKS,
and
KNOWLEDGE ON SOUND!!
Here's what we learned today by making and playing our guitars:
1. Sound is made by vibrations.
2. Sound needs matter to travel. You can't hear sound in space.
3 . We can hear sound waves because the air (matter) around the vibrating object also vibrates.
4. Solids transfer sound better than liquids or gases because of how close the molecules are together.
5. The pitch of the guitar changes as we increase and decrease the length of the rubber band.
I think we're ready to go on the road!
